Project "Work & Care"
About every eleventh employee in Germany cares about a family member. This is shown by current studies. Balancing work and care in a family environment is a multiple burden that can affect the health of those employee and can also lead to job losses. With our project "Work & Care" we now focus more on this topic. It is supported by Charité Center 12 for Internal Medicine and Dermatology.
- So far we have been able to expand the range of advice and information together with the Charité Social Service. For information, please contact us familienbuero(at)charite.de or the social service.
- We have also established a one-day training course for those affected, managers or multipliers at the training academy. The next appointments are on 29 September 2020, on 10 March 2021 and on 8 September 2021. You can register via the training academy.
- In addition, we have set up a discussion group of caring relatives, which is professionally moderated by the Contact Point Pflegeengagement Mitte. The appointment is always the last Wednesday of the month from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Campus Mitte. For more information and if you want to participate, please contact us at familienbuero(at)charite.de.
