Thank you very much!

Thanks to the generous support of the Freundeskreises of the Charité, the Charité family office can offer supervised holiday camps for children of Charité employees throughout the six-week summer vacation.

Child holiday care 2020

As in previous years, we offer your primary school children the option of childcare during the summer holidays.

The holiday trip to the "Mecklenburgische Seenplatte" takes place in the 1st week of the summer holidays (29 June - 4 July) and lasts from Monday morning to Saturday morning. Here the focus is on nature, play and fun. The trip is suitable for 20 children aged 8 to 12 and is primarily intended to help the staff who maintain patient care during the summer holidays.

Thanks to the support of the Freundeskreis der Charité, the campus holidays can be held again. They are intended for children aged 6 to 12 years. Every week, 20 children can be looked after from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Under the theme "An adventure trip through the human body", the children learn in a playful way how the human body is structured and how it works. At the same time, they discovered the various work and research areas of the Charité through exciting campaigns.

The campus holidays take place in the following order:

  • Hollyday weeks 2 and 3 (6 July - 10 July and 13 July - 17 July) Campus Virchow-Klinikum
  • Hollyday weeks 4 und 5 (20 July - 24 July and 27 July - 31 July) Campus Charité Mitte
  • Hollyday week 6 (3 August - 7 August) Campus Benjamin Franklin

The cost contribution for childcare amounts to 50€/week and kid up to and including pay group 12. From pay group 13 or Ä1 the own amount is 75€/week and kid.

To register your children, send us the completed and signed note document to familienbuero(at)charite.de by 1 March. You will receive an acceptance or rejection until 31 March.

We look forward to seeing you and your children.
